Aunt Party Head (what we called her when I was little because she spoiled us so) rocked the boys’ world by bringing them balloons and hanging out with us. After one balloon was popped and one got stuck in a tree she also had the brilliant idea to put a weight on them, so we filled empty bubble containers with rocks. Not only did the boys have a blast, they fell victim to experiential learning and teachable moments about weight, comparing and contrasting, making predictions, and new vocabulary. Bonus.
